Deepsel vs Service Plan Pro for maintenance agreements
This is for field service companies choosing a tool that runs maintenance agreements beside the job system they already have. If you're looking at Deepsel and want a Deepsel alternative to weigh it against, this page sets out what each site says, so you can check every line.
Two things come first. Every member signs a digital service agreement before billing starts, and the signed copy is stored on their customer record. And the dashboard shows the monthly recurring revenue your plans bring in, worked out from your active memberships each time you open it.
No credit card required.
What Deepsel offers, in their words
Deepsel describes itself as “HVAC maintenance made easy”, with maintenance agreements that run themselves: renewals bill the card on file, and members get reminded and book their own tune-ups. The homepage lists auto-renewal and billing, email and text reminders, scheduled maintenance visits, equipment data captured from a photo of the unit's nameplate, failed payment flags, and working alongside Jobber or Housecall Pro.
Their pricing page has two plans, each with unlimited users and agreements. Starter is $79 a month, or $790 a year, and lists card-on-file auto-charge, automated booking reminder emails, membership and visit tracking, and customer and unit records. Pro is $159 a month, or $1,590 a year, and is marked “Coming soon”. It adds customer and schedule sync with Jobber or Housecall Pro, booking reminder texts, membership discounts, QuickBooks export, an AI assistant and parts warranty tracking.
In their words, “Neither plan is a field service platform.” Dispatch, quoting and invoicing stay in Jobber, Housecall Pro or whatever you run today. On Starter, your customer list comes in as a spreadsheet. When a card fails, they say they retry automatically, request updated cards and email or text the member, and anything that still doesn't clear is flagged on one screen for your office.
Their site does not describe e-signature or a signed agreement, a member portal, an MRR view, a self-enrolment link, a choice of billing currency, which payment account cards are charged through, ServiceM8 or Xero.

What Service Plan Pro does on the agreement side
A signed agreement on the customer record. When you enrol a member, Service Plan Pro creates a signing link. The member reads an agreement that lists the plan, the price and the perks, and signs it with a typed or drawn signature, on their phone or on your tablet in person. Billing starts only after they sign. You edit the wording under Settings, and the signed copy stays on the customer record, including after a cancellation.
A live MRR view. The dashboard works out your monthly recurring revenue and active members from the memberships that are active each time you open it. At-Risk Customers lists every member whose payment is past due, beside the revenue at risk, so you know which accounts to call before they lapse.
A member portal and failed payment recovery. Members sign in with a link sent to their email and see their plan, perks, visits, signed agreement and billing. When a card charge fails, Stripe retries it over several days and the member gets an email asking them to update their card in the portal. If every retry fails, the subscription is cancelled, you're told, and a win-back email goes to the member a few days later.
Billing through your own Stripe account. Card-billed plans charge the member's card through your own Stripe account on each renewal date, in the billing currency you set under Settings, and Stripe sends the receipt. The money settles into your account, and there's no platform fee on your members' payments.
Recurring invoices with Pay Now. For members who'd rather not keep a card on file, a Recurring Invoice plan emails a branded invoice on the schedule you set, with the plan name, the amount and the due date. Each invoice can carry a Pay Now link that marks it paid when it's used, you mark a bank transfer or check paid from the Invoices page, and an overdue reminder goes out after the number of days you choose.
A self-enrolment link. Every plan has a shareable enrolment link for email, text or your website. The customer fills in their details, signs the agreement and adds their payment method, and the new member appears on your dashboard.
Optional connectors. ServiceM8 and QuickBooks Online are included on every plan and both are optional. Connect ServiceM8 and each due visit also becomes a job card, with payment notes logged to the client diary. Connect QuickBooks Online and paid invoices, their payments and your Stripe payouts are posted to the accounts you choose, each payout as one deposit with the fee on its own line.
Each of these is described step by step in the documentation, and the service agreement billing page covers the same mechanics for every trade.

Deepsel or Service Plan Pro, answered
Can I move from Deepsel to Service Plan Pro?
Yes. Deepsel's pricing page says that when you cancel, your agreement list, equipment records and visit history export as a spreadsheet. Import that file into Service Plan Pro and map the columns before anything is saved, then enrol your members in bulk. Every member signs a Service Plan Pro agreement before billing starts, including members who were already on a plan with you. Saved cards don't transfer, so each card member enters their card again on the Stripe payment page after signing. Once a member has signed and paid here, stop their billing in Deepsel so they aren't charged twice.
Does Service Plan Pro sync with Jobber or Housecall Pro?
No. There's no Jobber or Housecall Pro connector. Customers come in from a CSV you export from either one, and plan visits go out as a calendar file you book from. The maintenance plans for Jobber users and Housecall Pro Service Plans alternative pages cover running each one side by side with Service Plan Pro.
What about members who don't want a card on file?
Put them on a Recurring Invoice plan. They get a branded invoice by email on the schedule you set, pay it by bank transfer, check or the Pay Now link, and get an overdue reminder if it slips. Every outstanding and overdue invoice is listed on the Invoices page, beside each member's payment history.
Can I use my own agreement wording?
Yes, on every plan. Edit the agreement template under Settings and every new agreement uses it, with the plan name, price and perks filled in for each member. The signed copy is stored on the customer record and stays there after a cancellation.
No credit card required, and your job system stays where it is.
